Country Life
The Key Looks Country Life
We see this trend having the most commercial impact for the season ahead, with its rich colour palette, key fabric directions and directional print applications. It is a trend which encompasses all product areas, making it a strong look for all levels of the market. Inspiration comes from the colours, textures and flora and fauna of the countryside for a true autumnal story full of warm tactile touch fabrics and cocooning shapes.
Key colours: peacock blues, bilberry, mustard, browns and camel

Dressing-up Box
The Key Looks Dressing-up Box
Rummage through the dressing-up box and pull together a look which defies any particular era, but draws on vintage influences from the 20s through to the 50s. The look is charmingly haphazard and overtly feminine, with its roots in mismatched proportions and eccentric layering - there are no hard and fast rules, only those which are meant to be broken. A key look for junior development with its anything-goes aesthetic that allows wardrobe pieces to be put together in unexpected ways.
Key colours: opt for a dusty offbeat level of colour with an almost bad-taste appeal. Coral, peach, mustard, brown, peacock blue
Key fabrics: PM fabrics for day, fur, velvets, satin, tweed, sheers, roses, floral prints, conversational prints
Key product areas: skirts and blouses, dresses, outerwear, knits and jersey
Minimal Sculpture
The Key Looks Minimal Sculpture
One of the strongest, but maybe the least commercial trends for next winter sees a return to structure and the complexities of strong cutting techniques. The effect is for minimal silhouettes with the emphasis on sculptural qualities, defining necklines, shoulder-lines and the hip. There is something almost architectural in some of the season's more directional collars, peplums and intricate seam details.
Key colours: cool neutrals, cosmetic pales, grey, black
Key fabrics: luxe wools, satin
Key product areas: outerwear, tailoring, dresses
